Behind the Scenes: I thought long and hard about how this war should end. I couldn’t end it in the typical way. True to myself, I had to twist it. I had planned for this to be the last book in the series, but there was so much story left. Too much. Enough to warrant another book. My characters deserved their happy endings, and my readers deserved me taking my time.
