Behind the Scenes: After this book was published, one fan wrote me to say she found the story darker than usual. I’m not surprised. Tragedy struck my life while I was writing this book. My youngest brother unexpectedly passed away. Not only was I buried with grief, but there was a lot of shock to deal with. Because of him, this website exists, and I poured some of that grief into these pages.
