Winter is the ghosts of seasons with silent footsteps and a cocooning hush. Imprints in the snow hint at life and others, but I don’t see them or hear them. The cold allows me to swath myself in warm sweaters and scarves. I cup my hands around steaming tea and hot chocolate. It’s a season worth celebrating.
